Lithium-ion battery maintenance tips
1. The entire charging process includes three stages: fast charging, continuous charging, and trickle charging. After the first two stages, the battery level will display 100%, but the battery is not actually saturated. The remaining capacity can only be replenished by tiny pulse currents, and this stage usually takes 30-40 minutes.
2. Charging a phone with a computer is generally not a problem, but the unstable current output caused by using the computer can damage the battery. For Android phones, selecting the charging-only mode can effectively speed up charging and minimize the impact on both the phone and computer.
3. Generally, chargers from different manufacturers have specific requirements; do not change chargers arbitrarily if you are unsure. Also, do not remove the speed limiter on the controller. While removing the speed limiter may increase the vehicle's speed to some extent, it will reduce battery life.
4. Under normal circumstances, a new mobile phone usually has a certain amount of power. However, lithium-ion batteries will enter a dormant state after being left for a period of time. Therefore, many people mistakenly believe that a new mobile phone needs to be fully charged for 12 hours before it can be used. In fact, modern mobile phones can restore their normal capacity after 3 to 5 normal charge and discharge cycles. Prolonged connection to the power source will not only fail to activate the lithium-ion battery but will also cause great damage to the battery itself.
