These include sophisticated charging and discharging circuits, as well as protection against overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, and short circuits, creating a safe operating environment for you and your equipment. In contrast, cheaper lithium-ion batteries lack advanced manufacturing technology, compromising safety. Therefore, it is crucial to choose a reliable lithium-ion battery manufacturer.
3. Cell quality and safety
Cell quality is also a significant factor affecting the price of lithium-ion batteries of the same capacity. Different cell materials are another important factor influencing price differences. Different sourcing channels also affect prices. Some lithium-ion batteries use imported cells, while others use domestically produced ones; there are also distinctions in cell quality, such as Grade A, Grade B, and Grade C; and some unscrupulous manufacturers even use second-hand or salvaged cells, which can lead to even greater price differences.
4. Differences in outer shell material
Power supply casings are typically made of ordinary plastic or metal, which not only have poor heat dissipation but are also easily deformed, affecting their appearance. Some brands use inferior materials for their casings, which can even cause spontaneous combustion.
