1. Place a power supply
Electric vehicle lithium-ion battery packs all have some remaining charge before leaving the factory, which can be used for short-distance riding after the electric vehicle is sold. After the first ride, the battery must be charged for the first time, and it is recommended that the first charge be carried out for a relatively long time (8-12 hours).
2. Charger Precautions
To ensure the charging safety and extend the lifespan of the lithium-ion battery pack, this battery pack can only be charged with the 36V lithium-ion battery charger provided by our company. If the charger is lost or damaged, please contact the authorized dealer for a replacement. Do not use lead-acid chargers or other types of chargers.
3. Charge in a timely manner
Timely charging can remove minor sulfation. If not charged promptly, these sulfide crystals will accumulate and gradually form larger crystals. Ordinary chargers are ineffective against these larger crystals, leading to a gradual decrease in battery capacity and a shortened battery life. Therefore, in addition to daily charging, it is also important to charge the battery as soon as possible after use to keep the lithium-ion battery pack at a fully charged state.
4. Pay attention to the charging environment.
The optimal ambient temperature for charging is 25℃. Most chargers nowadays do not have an automatic temperature control system, so most are designed for an ambient temperature of 25℃. Therefore, charging at 25℃ is preferable.
5. Charging time for the first charge
Since electric bicycle batteries haven't undergone charging and discharging before leaving the factory, it's important to ensure their proper functioning. Generally, a charging time of 5-6 hours is sufficient to fully charge the battery. Subsequent use may require slightly longer charging times.
