Reasons why a mobile phone's lithium-ion battery may not fully charge
If a mobile phone's lithium-ion battery doesn't fully charge, it indicates a problem with the charger. The charger's output voltage may be insufficient, preventing it from reaching its full capacity. Another possibility is that the charger uses a high-current charger; when charging at a high current, the battery voltage will drop slightly after a while.
1. Use or purchase original manufacturer's data cables and charging equipment for charging. Generic data cables may have internal wiring issues, preventing proper charging.
2. Check if there is a problem with the charging port or the charger. For this type of problem, a hardware substitution method can be used, that is, use the same charging device to charge another phone of the same type to test and determine if the charging device is working properly.
3. Allow sufficient charging time. Some mobile phone lithium-ion batteries may appear to be fully charged after charging for a period of time, but they are still dripping while charging. If the charging device is removed at this time, it will result in incomplete charging, i.e., not being fully charged.
4. Perform proper maintenance on your lithium-ion battery. Generally, charging your phone when the battery level is below 20% is considered healthy charging. Regular healthy charging helps extend battery life and allows the battery to maintain its charge for a longer period.
5. If the battery doesn't fully charge, it could be due to aging or decreased capacity of the lithium-ion battery. In this case, try replacing it with a new battery. When replacing the battery, it's best to choose an original, genuine battery from the manufacturer, as these lithium-ion batteries are guaranteed in terms of both workmanship and quality.
