Abstract: High Speed ​​Cutting (HSC) technology is considered an important technology in the 21st century. This paper introduces its principle, definition, technological characteristics, key techniques and applications. Some problems are pointed out. Key words: high speed cutting; high speed electric spindle; CNC; linear motor 0 Introduction Due to its high speed and high precision, high speed cutting can significantly improve machining efficiency, shorten machining time, and reduce machining costs. It can also achieve higher levels of surface finish and machining accuracy.
