Abstract : This paper introduces the exploration and experience of Harbin Huaneng Central Heating Co., Ltd. in applying variable frequency speed control equipment, and describes the technical characteristics of the high-voltage variable frequency device of Dongfang Hitachi (Chengdu) Electrical Control Equipment Co., Ltd. Through comparison under different operating conditions, it is shown that the practical high-voltage variable frequency device can significantly improve the system's safety and reliability.

1 Introduction
Fans are a type of power machinery used in large quantities and with extremely high power consumption. In my country, fans account for more than 10% of total electricity consumption annually, and in the power, steel, coal, and metallurgical industries, their power consumption often exceeds 20% of production electricity. Therefore, energy-saving research on fans is of great economic significance. Flow regulation in fan systems often involves changing the opening of dampers, resulting in additional pressure losses on the dampers and consuming a large amount of energy. Upgrading fan systems using variable frequency speed control technology can not only save energy but also make the system operation more efficient and reliable.
