Design and application of computer testing system for friction testing machine

Abstract : Frictional testers are used to test the frictional properties of materials. Based on the MM-1000 frictional tester, this paper designs an automatic testing system for testing the mechanical wear properties of C/C composites. A frequency converter is used to control the automatic speed increase and decrease of the motor. Configuration software and VC++ are used to dynamically monitor and manage the testing process, achieving automatic and continuous testing. The results show that the system performs well in practical applications. Due to its good thermal conductivity, high load-bearing capacity, long service life, and strong environmental adaptability, it has been widely used in the new generation of aircraft braking devices, achieving a major breakthrough in aircraft braking technology. The friction and wear performance of C/C composite material is the key to its braking performance. The friction and wear performance of the material is related to many factors, including the material itself, braking speed, braking pressure, and inertia. This paper describes the automatic testing system of the friction testing machine from both hardware and software aspects. By setting the braking speed, pressure, and inertia, the performance parameters of C/C composite material during the braking process are tested over time, and the curves and data are recorded, providing a scientific basis for its application in aircraft braking devices. [b]1 System Structure and Implementation 1.1 System Structure[/b] The system includes three motors. The main motor controls the speed increase of the MM-1000 friction testing machine through a frequency converter. The blower motor is used to cool the main motor, and the oil pump motor lubricates the main shaft of the friction testing machine. Solid-state relays are used for control. A sensor system is installed on the friction testing machine to detect data. After signal conditioning, the data is acquired by a computer and processed.
