Abstract: This paper mainly introduces the specific application of Siemens S7-226 PLC, Delta frequency converter, and Eview touch screen in a leachate incineration power generation system, focusing on the design, data acquisition, communication, and monitoring of the control system. Keywords: PLC; frequency converter; touch screen; free port communication PID 1 Introduction China's economy is developing rapidly, people's living standards are constantly improving, and the urbanization process is accelerating. However, at the same time, it faces increasingly serious environmental problems, especially the disposal of urban waste. Urban domestic waste has become one of the most serious public hazards in China. Timely disposal of urban waste is an indispensable condition for building modern cities. How to solve the waste problem has attracted widespread attention from the whole society. At present, the main methods of urban domestic waste disposal widely used at home and abroad are sanitary landfill, high-temperature composting, and incineration. The proportion of these three main waste disposal methods varies due to factors such as geographical environment, waste composition, and economic development level. Urban household waste in China is characterized by high food waste content, high moisture content, and low calorific value. When using incineration, fresh waste must be stored in a waste storage pit for 3-5 days for fermentation and maturation to remove moisture and increase calorific value, ensuring the normal operation of the incinerator. The water seeping out during this process is called "leachate." Leachate has a complex composition, mainly consisting of organic pollutants, ammonia, nitrogen, phosphorus, and heavy metals. It is a highly polluted, strongly odorous, yellowish-brown or grayish-brown wastewater that is extremely destructive to the environment. Currently, the main treatment technologies used include reverse osmosis and biochemical treatment. Compared to the other two methods, waste incineration has significant advantages in terms of volume reduction, harmlessness, and resource recovery. This waste treatment technology, which integrates environmental protection and power generation, is turning waste into a resource, has broad development prospects, and represents a new direction for solving urban waste disposal.
