The IRTOUCH infrared touchscreen works by arranging infrared receivers and emitters around its perimeter. These emitters are arranged in a one-to-one correspondence on the touchscreen surface, forming a network of infrared light. When an object (finger, gloved object, or any touchable object) enters this network and blocks infrared transmission at a certain point, the intensity of the infrared light received by the receivers in both the horizontal and vertical directions at that point changes. The device can detect the location of a touch by analyzing these changes in infrared reception. Due to its inherent working principle, the IRTOUCH touchscreen allows for pressure-free touch operation, enabling it to operate without glass. Through hardware design and software programming, the IRTOUCH touchscreen can interpolate data at various points, achieving a resolution of 4096 x 4096. At any given moment, only one pair of infrared emitters (one emitter and one receiver corresponding to a physical location) is processing data. The circuit achieves rapid response by acquiring high-frequency data from these pairs, resulting in an extremely fast reaction speed. Comparison of Various Touchscreen Technologies: 1. Resistive Touchscreen - Water and dirt resistant - Cost advantage due to its small size, suitable for industrial control products and personal portable products - Susceptible to scratches, low light transmittance, and sluggish at low temperatures. 2. Surface Acoustic Wave Touchscreen - Newer and easier to use, suitable for short-term products - Susceptible to water and dust, requires maintenance - Fragile transducer, resulting in a high return rate. 3. Capacitive Touchscreen - Drift, prone to partial failure - Human body becomes part of the circuitry, ineffective when wearing gloves - High requirements for humidity, temperature, and grounding environments. 4. IRTOUCH Infrared Touchscreen - High sensitivity and stability - External or internal, does not affect the display appearance - Anti-light interference - Good explosion-proof performance - Can be touched by any object - Completely enclosed and maintenance-free, adaptable to harsh environments - Completely maintenance-free after installation.
