Abstract : This paper introduces the system composition and working principle of the HARSVERT-A06/05 high-voltage frequency converter, and its application in a steelmaking dust removal fan. Keywords : High-voltage frequency converter; Dust removal fan; Energy saving 1 Introduction Handan Iron and Steel Plant currently has two 600t blast furnaces. With the strengthening of production organization, each shift (8h) requires 50-60 heats of blast furnace tapping and 30-40 heats of blast furnace tapping. The workload is quite heavy. During the blast furnace tapping and tapping process, a large amount of brownish-red flue gas and iron oxide scale are discharged from the furnace mouth, seriously endangering the physical and mental health of the employees. According to the "Integrated Emission Standard of Air Pollutants" (GB16297-1996) promulgated in China in 1996, the flue gas temperature is high and contains harmful gases and metal particles. The flue gas must be cooled and purified, and discharged to the chimney by the induced draft fan or transported to the gas recovery system for later use. In recent years, with the development of the enterprise, environmental pollution issues have attracted great attention from the company's leadership. In early 2003, the company planned to invest heavily in installing new dust removal equipment in the blast furnace system, so that harmful fumes would be purified by the dust removal system before being released, thereby reducing air pollution and improving air quality. After extensive research and comparison, it was finally decided to use the HARSVERT-A06/105 high-voltage frequency converter manufactured by Beijing Lide Huafu Technology Co., Ltd. The high-voltage frequency converter for the blast furnace dust removal fan was installed on June 14, commissioned and put into operation on July 31, and passed full acceptance on August 4.
