During injection molding, the hydraulic pump pressure fluctuates frequently. The traditional method for maintaining low pressure is through proportional valve depressurization, while the electric motor runs at full speed at the power frequency, resulting in significant energy waste. ② Disc machine models: Single-color disc machines have only one main unit, similar to horizontal injection molding machines. A two-color injection molding machine consists of one main machine and one auxiliary machine. The auxiliary machine is responsible for injection, melting, upper mold, and lower mold actions. The main machine includes the actions of the auxiliary machine and adds a rotating disc action to achieve mold movement and positioning. A three-color injection molding machine consists of one main machine and two auxiliary machines. ③ Number of molds: Horizontal injection molding machines generally only have one set of molds in operation. When the production process changes, the mold needs to be replaced. Rotary injection molding machines generally have 18, 20, 24, or 30 sets of molds, depending on the model. According to the production process, the validity of the mold position is set through the control panel. The PLC or microcontroller executes the program calculation. When only a valid mold position is detected, the turntable begins to decelerate. When the positioning signal is reached, the turntable performs precise positioning. Otherwise, if no valid mold position is detected, the large turntable continues to rotate to the next valid mold position.
