Abstract : This paper compares different solutions for elevator door operator systems and proposes an application solution based on Vacon frequency converters. The door operator system developed using this solution has advantages such as simple manufacturing process, stable and reliable operation, and convenient debugging. This system has significant market potential. Keywords : Frequency converter, elevator door operator 1 Introduction In the domestic elevator door operator market, there are several types of door operator systems: dedicated door operator servo systems, such as the general-purpose frequency converter plus PLC control system launched by Beijing Time Technology; and dedicated door operator frequency converters, such as the EMERSON TD3200 series frequency converters. To meet the requirements of the domestic elevator door operator market, elevator manufacturers have made the development of new frequency converter-controlled door operator systems a major development direction. Vacon frequency converters have programmable functions, providing users with a programming platform. Users can write the timing and motor operation curves required by the system according to its needs. The Vacon NC1131-3 Engineering programming tool is a graphical programming tool conforming to the IEC1131-3 standard. It can be used to design special control logic and parameters for Vacon NX. It includes basic and advanced functional modules, such as various filters, PI controllers, and integrators. The Nc1131-3 can create parameters, fault information, and other application-related features. In system design, it can replace PIC functions, resulting in optimal performance, lowest price, and highest cost-effectiveness. Users can write their own dedicated door operator control software. 2. General-Purpose Inverter Door Operator System Composition The hardware composition of the inverter door operator control system can use a Panasonic VF-7F 0.4kW inverter and an FP1-CI4 programmable controller.
