Abstract : Taking the speed control of the hoisting motor in the 380m blast furnace charging system of Angang Group Shuiye Iron and Steel Company as an example, this paper introduces the specific application of Schneider ATV68 frequency converter in controlling motor speed. Keywords : ATV68 frequency converter, intelligent master control, hoisting motor 0 Introduction Frequency converter is a high-tech product integrating power electronics technology, automatic control technology, and computer technology. It has the characteristics of safety, reliability, and ease of use. It has been widely used in motor speed control systems and has become a new generation of automatic control device with wide application and rapid development in the field of industrial control. This paper introduces the specific application of frequency converter in speed control by using Schneider ATV68 frequency converter in the speed control of the hoisting motor in the 380m blast furnace charging system of Angang Group Shuiye Iron and Steel Company (hereinafter referred to as Shuitie). 1 Hoisting Motor Speed Control System 1.1 Structure The hoisting motor speed control system consists of 4 parts: (1) Intelligent master controller, which is used to set the controlled parameters and transmit control signals to the frequency converter. (2) Frequency converter, used to set frequency parameters and directly control the speed of the hoist motor. (3) Hoist motor, drives the hoist loading trolley to run as required. (4) Loading trolley, completed loading under the drive of the hoist motor. 1.2 Principle The schematic diagram of the hoist motor speed control system is shown in Figure 1. In the figure, SQ1 to SQ6 are signals from the intelligent master controller indicating when the loading trolley reaches a certain predetermined position. These signals are then transmitted to the frequency control terminals N1 and N2 of the frequency converter through relays KA1, KA2, and KA3 to control the frequency output of the frequency converter, thereby realizing the speed control of the hoist motor. SQ0 and SQ7 are signals when the loading trolley reaches the lower and upper limits, and are also signals to control the forward and reverse rotation of the loading trolley. A and B are control terminals to control the forward and reverse rotation of the hoist motor.
