Research and Implementation of Automatic Control System Based on WebAccess

Abstract: This paper proposes a remote control system based on the WebAccess Internet component. The system utilizes WebAccess to communicate with the lower-level Siemens S7-300 PLC, realizing a network control system for remote monitoring and real-time analysis. This achieves remote online real-time monitoring of the PLC-controlled motor system at a relatively low cost. Keywords: WebAccess; remote monitoring; PLC; network control 0 Introduction In recent years, with the popularization of network technology and the advancement of distributed control (DCS) industrial technology, monitoring systems have evolved from centralized monitoring architectures to multi-layered distributed monitoring systems. Multi-layered distributed control systems are developed based on distributed control systems and network technology. Technically, they can access the required data from a local area network or through a remote network or the Internet. Due to the widespread adoption of industrial control networking, configuration software has formed a relatively complete control system. To meet the needs of industrial control for general monitoring and control software, relatively complete industrial control configuration software has gradually emerged. This system uses the Internet configuration software WebAccess to conduct in-depth research on the PLC-controlled motor system and the water level process control system. This paper presents a research project on a network control system platform for remote monitoring and real-time analysis, utilizing communication between WebAccess and a Siemens S7-300 PLC.
