Fuzzy PID Control System for PLC-Based Lime Rotary Kiln

Abstract: Through process analysis of the PLC production line of activated lime rotary kiln, the system hardware was configured, a fuzzy PID controller was designed, and an adaptive fuzzy inference and optimization design scheme was given. The system was implemented in a PLC environment and performed well. Keywords: PLC, fuzzy PID, rotary kiln, pressure 1. Introduction Activated lime is one of the key raw materials for steelmaking. The level and reliability of the automation control of the lime kiln directly affect the quality and energy consumption of activated lime. Based on the actual working conditions, this system adopts PLC control technology combined with fuzzy PID control algorithm, and uses fieldbus technology and industrial Ethernet technology to automate the production process of activated lime rotary kiln. 2. Rotary Kiln Process and Hardware Configuration 2.1 Process Flow Introduction The production process of activated lime rotary kiln is shown in Figure 1. It mainly involves calcining quicklime, using flue gas for vertical preheating, and using a coke oven gas to air combustion ratio for calcination, resulting in the final product.
