After 2010, NASA's next-generation crewed spacecraft, ORION, will replace low-Earth orbit spacecraft as the primary means of transporting personnel to the International Space Station, returning to the Moon, and even landing on Mars. According to the plan, ORION will transport four astronauts to the Moon by 2020, followed by six astronauts aboard ORION on their journey to Mars within a year and a half. Three-roll and four-roll hydraulic plate rolling machines are currently the most innovative and revolutionary machines on the market. These machines can bend metal sheets with thicknesses of 1-200mm and lengths of up to 12m, making them the world's largest roll plate rolling machines. They have been used to produce beams for oil platforms. The three-roll bending machine uses three independent hydraulic drive motors and three gear drive motors, both connected to the roller hub, facilitating safe material transport, especially ideal for steel structures. The circumferential speed with hydraulic drive compensation function offers higher efficiency compared to traditional coupling adjustments. All components meet IP65 protection standards.[/align] Automatic bending of the profile leading edge minimizes residual straight edges. Rounding bends eliminate the need for removal, rotation, and re-insertion. Furthermore, there's no need to bend the ends of the sheet metal before initiating the rounding bend process. The DAVI profile bending machine is specifically designed for bending standard cross-section profiles such as bar steel, square steel, T-shaped steel or UPN (“European Standard” channel steel), angle steel or tubing, stainless steel tubing, aluminum, copper, and other materials. The profile bending machine features a heavy-duty construction and comes with a variety of attachments, including a hydraulic traction device, making it optimal for applications requiring a pressure slide block, with a maximum cross-section of 500mm. The crossbeam can be up to 1000mm long. The machine is equipped with straightening rollers to correct deformation during the bending process. Fixed rollers rotate around self-lubricating, self-straightening bearings to achieve maximum performance. A New Automation Solution for Fully Automatic Folding Machines The fully automatic folding machine features precise object control, making bending cycles more economical and efficient, enabling rapid cost recovery and profit generation when producing relatively thin and medium-sized assembly profiles. Utilizing dual-slider bending technology, forward and reverse bending are automatically completed without manual material handling. Furthermore, the turret function of the feeding table avoids the manual material handling process found in other bending machines. Automatic folding machines face two challenging problems. The first is how to quickly and accurately position the sheet metal. An encoder is located to the right of the servo motor to achieve optimal dynamic characteristics. A second encoder, fixed to the table, determines the precise position of the sheet metal, ensuring the necessary accuracy. B&R's ACOPOS intelligent servo drive handles the two parallel encoders, aiming to ensure they complete the task flawlessly. Maintaining the parallelism of the upper and lower sliders is another challenge. Thick sheet metal not covering the entire width inevitably causes slider tilting, affecting product quality. Our solution is to install position encoders on the left and right sides of the hydraulic cylinder. The position encoder data is read by the X20 CPU, and a closed-loop controller ensures the parallelism of the upper and lower sliders.
