Abstract: This paper uses MATLAB as the development tool and applies it to the design of a flight simulator control load system. After establishing the mathematical model of the controlled object, according to the performance requirements of the flight simulator control load system in the national military standard, a controller for the control load system was designed using a PID control scheme, and the optimal control parameters of the control system were obtained. Thisstudy provides a certain reference value for the performance analysis of control load systems and the design of control systems using PID control schemes. Keywords: MATLAB; control load system; PID control Introduction The flight simulator control load system[1] is an automatic control system that takes the load force on the control stick or pedals as the control object. Its function is to receive the displacement and speed signals of the control stick or pedals and the relevant parameters sent by the flight simulator main control computer, calculate the model load force signal, and after conversion and amplification, generate the actual load force applied by the operator to the control stick or pedals by the servo drive device, DC torque motor, transmission mechanism, loading force spring group, etc. The control load system is an important part of the flight simulator, which can simulate the longitudinal control stick force, lateral control stick force and pedal force of the aircraft. The simulation effect of the control load system directly affects the pilot's simulation training and the evaluation of the flight quality of the flight simulator. Therefore, the system is required to have good static and dynamic characteristics. Based on the mathematical model of the electric longitudinal control load system of the flight simulator, this paper uses Matlab to search for the control parameter values of the system and designs a high-performance flight simulator control load system.
