Abstract : The development of modern science and technology is changing rapidly, especially in the field of information. The rapid development of electronic and communication technologies has provided rich means for information acquisition and transmission. The emergence of embedded technology has made information acquisition terminals move towards intelligence, miniaturization, and mobility. Embedded systems have the characteristics of small size, easy to hold and easy to use. Video acquisition based on embedded systems also has such advantages and has a wide range of applications. This paper introduces a video acquisition system based on the hardware platform of Intel PXA270 and the software platform of embedded Linux. The hardware system design briefly introduces the composition of the hardware platform. The software system design focuses on the process of video acquisition under VFL in embedded LINUX. Embedded systems are characterized by small size, easy handheld use and ease of use. Video acquisition based on embedded systems also has such advantages and has a wide range of applications. 1. Hardware system design The hardware platform of this system is the LIOD embedded system development board based on Intel PXA270, with a main frequency of up to 520MHz, 64Mbyte SDRAM and 32Mbyte FLASH on the board, which meets the requirements of video acquisition. The PXA270 processor is an integrated on-chip microprocessor that is widely used in high-performance, low-power, portable and handheld devices. Due to the adoption of on-the-fly voltage adjustment technology, frequency adjustment technology and mature power management technology, the Intel XScale chip [3] can provide industry-leading high performance and low power consumption (MIPs/mW) performance. The PXA27X processor adopts the ARM architecture and V5TE instruction system, and follows the ARM programming mode. At the same time, the PXA27X processor also provides wireless MMX integrated instruction set for audio and video processing [4], thereby greatly improving the performance of the product within a certain power consumption range.
