introduction
In an electro-hydraulic servo system, the electro-hydraulic servo valve is a key component that converts electrical control signals into hydraulic power signals, and the system's quality is directly affected by the valve's performance. Furthermore, obtaining the mathematical model and characteristic parameters of an electro-hydraulic servo valve often requires both static and dynamic characteristic tests.
Applying LabVIEW to computer-aided testing (CAT) of electro-hydraulic servo valves simplifies the testing system, improves its development efficiency, enhances its scalability, and significantly reduces experimental costs. This accelerates the research and development of CAT systems for electro-hydraulic servo valves and represents an important branch of electro-hydraulic servo valve testing experiments, as well as a future trend in electro-hydraulic servo valve testing.
LabVIEW Virtual Instrument Development Platform
Virtual instruments utilize existing PCs, along with specially designed software and necessary hardware, to perform tasks such as data acquisition, analysis, judgment, display, and storage of measured quantities. Their starting point is to software-enable traditional hardware instruments. The key to virtual instruments is the software, embodying the principle that "NI's LabVIEW is currently the only compiled graphical programming language internationally and is the leading virtual instrument development platform. It inherits the advantages of structured and modular programming from high-level programming languages, supporting modular and hierarchical design, which enhances program readability. Compared to traditional programming languages, LabVIEW graphical programming can significantly reduce program development time, with virtually no impact on its running speed."
