I. Introduction
Since the Ministry of Public Security convened the first National Conference on Criminal Technical Prevention in Shijiazhuang in 1979, security technology prevention has rapidly developed into a specialized field. Only by bravely facing challenges can security companies seize opportunities and actively utilize advanced technologies and information methods to implement e-commerce.
II. What is SEO?
SEO is an abbreviation for Search Engine Optimization, which is generally referred to as search optimization. Related search knowledge includes search engine positioning and search engine ranking.
Searching is the most frequently used online activity besides email. Finding information through search engines is the primary means by which internet users seek online information and resources. Search engine marketing has become a crucial component of online marketing. How to get one's website indexed by major search engines and achieve a high ranking has become a major headache for website builders.
SEO developed earlier abroad, and those who specialize in SEO are referred to by Google as "Search Engine Optimizers," or SEOs for short. As Google is currently the world's largest search engine provider, it has become a primary research subject for SEOs worldwide. Google's official website even has a dedicated page introducing SEO and stating Google's attitude towards it.
III. Implementing an SEO project for Wuhan Jingwei Electronics
Recommended by Professor Li Yuhai of the Department of Information Management at Central China Normal University, I had the opportunity to implement an SEO project for Wuhan Jingwei Electronics Co., Ltd., which was also used as a case study in the National College Student E-commerce Competition. The following analysis and research will explore how to implement SEO projects in the security industry.
To improve Jingwei's website ranking in major search engines and thus generate more economic benefits, I optimized the website using SEO principles during its redesign. This included submitting Jingwei's website registration information to search engines like Sogou and Yisou. Furthermore, we advised Jingwei to purchase paid search engine rankings on Baidu and Google after the redesign to further enhance its search engine ranking and results. The following is a brief description of the SEO optimization process and suggestions for Jingwei's website.
(I) Keywords for Jingwei Website
Integrated cameras, LED screen displays, dome cameras, integrated electronic systems, cameras, camera equipment, smart community systems, power grid monitoring systems, distance learning systems...
Taking the login page as an example, we divide it into three parts.
1. The landing page titles for the keywords "camera" and "integrated camera" are:
The integrated camera equipment from Wuhan Jingwei Electronics Co., Ltd. is mainly featured in the product introduction page.
2. Since "electronic system" and "integration" are the company's core keywords, separate landing pages were created for them.
The landing page for "Electronic Systems" is titled: "Electronic Systems Smart Community Wuhan Jingwei Electronics Co., Ltd."
The page title for the "Integrated" level 2 login page is: Power Monitoring, Remote Teaching Wuhan Jingwei Electronics Co., Ltd.
Level 1 login pages have slightly higher weight than Level 2 login pages; Level 1 login pages introduce the business while Level 2 login pages showcase the products.
The process starts with level 1 and then moves to level 2. Following typical browsing habits, visitors generally enter level 1 first, showing interest in the service before venturing to level 2 to view products. This increases customer conversion rates and improves the user experience. Filtering visitors into potential customers and providing them with extra support can effectively increase the conversion rate of potential customers into actual customers.
3. The title of the "Online Ordering" login page is: Online Product Ordering Wuhan Jingwei Electronics Co., Ltd., which mainly lists all products that can be ordered, as well as contact information and methods.
For onsite SEO of the landing page, the keyword density should be maintained at 3.5%-4.0%, and other SEO elements should be optimized as usual.
(II) Onsite SEO Recommendations
1. The webpage structure was changed to a Div+CSS XHTML structure. Div+CSS was used to position the top left Div layer of the webpage, and the main content of the webpage was placed on this layer and placed at the beginning of the code. This makes it easier for search engines to crawl the text content and increases the display rate of the main text content.
2. Change the website logo from the original background image to a sticker and add a link to the website homepage and an alt attribute.
3. Extract the main navigation bar from Flash. The effects inside the navigation bar can be fully implemented using DIV+CSS+Javascript.
4. Add all four login pages to the navigation bar, and then move the site map from the footer to the main navigation bar.
5. Use a news publishing system to publish news, adding relevant article links and a message board. Do not use forums, as forums are interactive platforms between customers and businesses, not news publishing platforms, and forums do not have links to relevant articles.
6. News headlines should include the word "camera" whenever possible, and the news topic must be related to cameras.
7. All webpage titles, meta descriptions, and keywords need to be rewritten based on the webpage content. For example, all webpages on the IBM China website were manually written one by one.
8. Add alt attributes to images (mainly for the left navigation bar).
9. It is recommended to add an English version of the website, which can effectively increase the website's credibility.
(III) Offsite SEO Recommendations
1. On website directories and search engines, such as: hao123.com, 265.com, Yahoo! Directory,
Submitting site information to websites like dmoz allows them to be indexed and searched.
2. Post trade announcements on B2B websites such as HC360.com and Alibaba, offering integrated camera equipment and other related products, and include a link to Jingwei.com.
3. Partner with industry portals, providing them with industry press releases, promotional information, and exclusive news, along with links to our website. For example, we analyzed public awareness of electric vehicle remote control systems, research on the smart community market, and the coverage of distance learning. Through analysis of existing research data and literature, we found that the media highly values this data.
4. Create blogs for outstanding Matrix Partners employees and link them to performance evaluations, encouraging them to update at least once a day.
(iv) SEM Recommendations
Create a separate landing page for each keyword, add analytics software to monitor incoming traffic in real time, and make appropriate adjustments or optimizations to the page based on the statistical data to improve customer conversion rates; rewrite the ad copy (ad title and description) for each paid ad, as any visitor will get bored seeing the same ad copy every time; each paid ad should contain a keyword.

In the information age, implementing e-commerce projects is particularly important for enterprise development. Every industry can be closely related to e-commerce and profit from it. Implementing online marketing is a trend of the times and a requirement for enterprise development. The security industry should change its mindset and be bold in trying and practicing online marketing. How to fully utilize SEO projects to achieve better results in search engines is a question that every online business should be particularly concerned about. Effectively implementing SEO projects can significantly promote the development of enterprise online marketing.
