1. Overview of Frequency Converter Production

Currently, there are over 200 domestic manufacturers producing low-voltage frequency converters (380V, 400V) and over 50 manufacturers producing high-voltage frequency converters (3kV, 6kV, 10kV). 2. Product Series Introduction  

1) The HPVFV vector inverter uses a 32-bit DSP chip, which is suitable for high-end and complex application environments and can meet the precise speed regulation requirements of various occasions.

2) HPVFE economic frequency converters are suitable for simple speed regulation applications, enabling the motor input voltage to match the load and maximizing energy savings.

Voltage 220V~480V; Power 0.32~15kW

3) HPVFQ four-quadrant frequency converters can meet the speed regulation or energy saving of various potential loads. They can feed back the regenerative energy of motors to the power grid, with low harmonic pollution to the power grid and a power factor close to 1. They are truly green frequency converters and are especially suitable for elevators, hoists, conveyor belts, various cranes, oilfield pumping machines, mine hoists, locomotive traction, etc.

3. Product Technical Characteristics  

1) The technical specifications of the Peace Vector Control Frequency Converter, a high-end, multi-functional inverter, are as follows:

Multiple control modes in one machine – it has four modes: V/f control, sensorless vector control, vector control, and four-quadrant inverter regenerative feedback control, which can be selected arbitrarily according to requirements.

2) It has low-speed high torque output - when V/f control is used, it can have 150%-200%Te (rated torque) at 0.5Hz, and when vector control is used, it can have 150%-200%Te (rated torque) at 0Hz.

3) It has a self-learning function—providing the most ideal control parameter settings.

4) It has free programming capabilities—multiple digital equations, multiple logical equations, and communication with the bus can realize arbitrary programming combinations and define well-defined functions.

5) It has the control function of multiple drives and multiple motors - synchronous control of multiple drives, parallel operation of PWM inverter regeneration units, and control of multiple motors.

6) Improved fault handling function - real-time data recording of voltage, current, frequency, input power, temperature, etc. 1 second before the fault occurs.

7) It has built-in PLC and PID functions (with compensation function, applicable to tension control of winding machines).

5. Product Technical Features

3) Input voltage 220~480V, with mining-grade 660~1140V available (other types are almost nonexistent).

4) Motor parameters can be automatically identified and compensated online (this is required for high-precision control, and is available from Fuji Electric in Japan).

5) The carrier frequency can automatically decrease. When the IGBT overheats due to overcurrent during use, it will automatically decrease. The factory default value is 2.5kHz, and the adjustable range is from 0.8 to 10kHz to ensure safety.

6) Can have multiple speeds up to 8 stages.

7) The V/f characteristic has three settings: linear, square, or arbitrary.

8) Energy saving effect: The V/f characteristic is automatically adjusted according to the motor load to reduce the output voltage and maximize energy saving.

6. Main Uses of the Product  

1) General equipment (water pumps, fans, air compressors, central air conditioning - cooling pumps, refrigeration pumps, compressors, etc.).

2) DC power supply device.

3) Multi-motor drive device.

4) Transport and loading/unloading cranes (lower conveyor belts, hoists, cages, cranes, gantry cranes, locks, elevators, wire drawing machines, winding machines, etc.).

7 Fault Alarm

8 System Composition Information  

Figure 1 is a block diagram of the HPVFV frequency converter. The diode bridge rectifies the three-phase power supply to provide DC power to the frequency converter. The inverter unit, composed of IGBTs, generates a three-phase symmetrical AC voltage.

The motor control module is based on microprocessor software. The microprocessor controls the motor according to the type of program (V/F, vector) built into the flash memory, the measured signals, the control input/output modules, and the parameter values ​​and commands set on the operation panel. It also calculates the IGBT switching position, and the gate driver amplifies the signals to drive the IGBTs. If an IGBT overcurrent occurs, the gate driver suspends the IGBT gate signal output and sends a fault signal to the microprocessor. The operation panel serves as the connection between the user and the HPVFV inverter. The user can use a keyboard or PC to set parameter values, read and write data, and issue control commands. The keyboard is detachable and can also be connected to the HPVFV inverter via a cable. 10 Conclusions
