Provide Bluetooth connectivity for embedded devices

2026-04-06 09:41:10 · · #1
Rabbit's applications are becoming increasingly widespread, enabling various communication methods. Rabbit Semiconductor has added Bluetooth support to some core modules, the BL2500, and BL2600 single-board computers. The Application Development Kit (IDK) or add-on kits based on A7 Engineering's EmbeddedBlue™ can implement complete Bluetooth wireless functionality. All Bluetooth protocol stack functions can be implemented immediately on the development board, so no additional code needs to be added to the main processor. Once a connection with a Bluetooth device is established, it is displayed that the serial communication cable connection has been established, so no special knowledge of wireless communication protocols is required. UART communication simplifies the interface between the main processor and the wireless module. The UART interface is used to search for, connect to, and communicate with other Bluetooth devices. LED indicators are used to indicate the connection status. Product Features and Advantages: Bluetooth wireless module can be directly plugged into supported RCM modules and single-board computers; simple serial UART communication and control; seamless connection with any Bluetooth device; 2.4 GHz FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) technology ensures interface security and reliability; low power consumption extends battery life; complete examples and source code; internal surface-mount antenna; Bluetooth Application Development Kit: The Bluetooth Application Development Kit provides all the software and hardware resources needed to develop Bluetooth applications. The application development kit (SDK) includes one RCM3100, an EmbeddedBlue eb506 AHC IN Bluetooth wireless module, a model board, and auxiliary cables and hardware. The SSD also includes a Dynamic C integrated development environment (IDE), Bluetooth drivers, function libraries, examples, and a user manual. The RCM3100 RabbitCore is used for product design. The RabbitCore series of microprocessor core modules are used to enable rapid development and deployment of embedded systems. RabbitCore employs a high-performance 8-bit Rabbit microprocessor, is highly integrated, has a C-friendly instruction set, and uses the Dynamic C® development system. RabbitCore is directly mounted on the user's design motherboard and used as the main microprocessor for the user system. Compact yet powerful, these core modules provide developers with a complete package for control and communication. The integrated Ethernet port frees designers from the limitations of serial communication and control, providing low-cost hardware with immediate local and global connectivity. Embedded systems using RabbitCore modules in the SSD can be controlled and monitored via any network or the Internet (programming and debugging require appropriate hardware). Programming with the RCM3100 utilizes the industry-proven Dynamic C® software development system—an integrated C editor, compiler, loader, and debugger specifically designed for Rabbit-based systems. Users can write, compile, and debug C and assembly programs without leaving the Dynamic C development environment and without the need for expensive chip emulators. A fully source-protected TCP/IP protocol stack is included free of charge in Dynamic C and any development package.
