Traditional bag-making machine control systems primarily rely on closed, single-chip control, lacking scalability and being dependent on suppliers, resulting in high controller costs. Koyo Technology has developed the SC226MA, a dedicated PLC for the bag-making machine industry, to address most of the industry's needs. This PLC features 24 input channels (DI), 16 output channels (DO); 2 analog inputs for acquiring displacement signals from the two-channel feeding arms; 4 analog outputs for controlling the two-channel feeding frequency converters, the main unit, and the conveyor belt; and 4 pulse outputs for controlling 4 servo and stepper motors. It can also be directly expanded with temperature control modules, DI/DO modules, and AI/AO modules. The host computer is a 7-inch touchscreen connected to the PLC via a RS-485 interface.
The SC226MA integrates over twenty dedicated instructions for bag-making machines. Specifically designed for the high-speed operation, frequent starts and stops, and coexistence of stepper and servo motors characteristic of the bag-making industry, it features a universal material feeding curve. Furthermore, it can be customized and additional instruction modules can be added according to customer needs, greatly facilitating secondary development. In actual operation, users only need to input information such as bag length and processing times per minute; the PLC automatically plans the appropriate material feeding curve and subsequent feeding frequency, achieving fully automatic speed regulation and synchronized subsequent feeding.
