It's time to put the recipe in your own hands!

2026-04-06 05:59:49 · · #1

In the production workshop, each piece of equipment has its own combination parameters when it operates. The data generated by each piece of equipment when it operates constitutes a formula table. Multiple sets of formula data can be established in each formula table. These formula data from multiple machines can be stored in the human-machine interface (HMI) so that the controller (PLC) can execute the corresponding tasks.

Let's start with "packaging machines"

The sealing task includes combinations of parameters such as sealing temperature, sealing pressure, and sealing time.

【Packaging】Work tasks include: cutting length, packaging material and other parameter combinations.

These parameter combinations, resulting from different work tasks, constitute the recipe table, and multiple sets of recipe data can be established within each recipe table.

If you don't understand these concepts, let me explain using the "packaging" recipe table of a packaging machine as an example:

One day, Weintek's technicians went on a business trip to a packaging machinery factory. When updating these formula data, the engineers did the following: they went to the HMI (Man-Machine Interface) of each machine on site and manually changed the formula data or updated the corrected formula data to each HMI via USB flash drive/SD card.

Here's the problem!

This results in a waste of time and manpower, and the risk of human input errors significantly increases the probability of machine malfunctions.

To address the inconveniences of traditional formula update methods, Weintek has launched a new "online formula data update" system with a Client/Server data transmission architecture. Users can use the HMI (cMT-SVR / cMT3151) on the Server side to synchronize the latest formula data online to all HMIs on the Client side in the field, and then transmit the formula with the PLC.

In automated or highly repetitive production environments, "online formula data updates" can simplify, accelerate, and standardize formula management at the field level.

Unmissable Highlights

1. Update formulas online to ensure data consistency and safety.

The server-side HMI (cMT-SVR / cMT3151) has a recipe database that stores the recipes required by all machines and equipment in the field. When a user updates the recipe database, the server-side cMT-SVR / cMT3151 can proactively download the updated recipe data from the client-side HMI. Similarly, when a user wants to update the HMI recipes on the client side, they can also obtain the latest data from the server-side cMT-SVR / cMT3151.

2. A recipe database in CSV format, facilitating maintenance and management.

The cMT-SVR / cMT3151 recipe database can store up to 100 different recipe tables; each recipe table can store up to 10,000 different recipe data combinations. It uses a simple and easy-to-understand CSV format to export data to a PC for backup or import batch updates from a PC, facilitating user maintenance and management.

Supported models: Server: cMT-SVR/cMT3151; Client: iE/cMT-HD/eMT/cMT series
