What is Intelligent Manufacturing? Intelligent manufacturing is a human-machine integrated intelligent system composed of human experts and intelligent systems. It performs intelligent activities during the manufacturing process, such as analysis, reasoning, judgment, and decision-making. It widely utilizes artificial intelligence technology in all aspects of production. Intelligent manufacturing is the development direction for assembly line production workshops and automated production workshops.

What is an ECS system?
ECS (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) systems are industrial equipment communication systems that provide centralized and intelligent equipment information collection and management for production workshops. The system design incorporates the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's CPS (Cyber-Physical Systems) and IoT standards, possessing features such as computing, communication, data transmission, precise control, and remote coordination.

ECS System Characteristics
1. To perform calculations, processing, and knowledge mining through network transmission, enabling seamless connection and information interaction between people and devices, and between devices;
2. Provide 3D modeling and physical fusion systems for engineering production scenarios, and virtually integrate physical content into the ECS system through the Internet of Things;
3. Supports OPC standard interface, can be seamlessly connected with OPCSERVER of major manufacturers, and also supports custom development of non-standard protocol drivers for non-standard equipment;
4. Unique network topology function, which intuitively and clearly displays the connections between nodes in the network;
5. Centralized and unified management of all on-site equipment, including automatic equipment sensing, data collection, big data analysis, and performance optimization of on-site equipment;
6. Unique real-time database framework enables fast and accurate real-time writing of collected data;

Main functions of ECS system
1. Data Acquisition Service (1) The ECS Server follows the standard OPC Server specification and can interface with OPC Servers from other manufacturers;
(2) ECS Server allows customers to customize protocols. Through customized protocols, ECS Server can connect to devices from any manufacturer.
(3) The ECS Client reads all the data in the ECS Server through the WebService interface;
(4) The ECS Client writes the data into the real-time data and provides indicator analysis;

2. Real-time database (1) Cross-platform capability, can run on multiple systems such as Windows, Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS;
(2) Flexible distributed architecture: The system architecture supports cross-platform distributed deployment. Functional modules and component programs can be deployed in a distributed manner according to tasks, and online configuration and remote configuration management are supported.
(3) Complete redundancy technology, supporting hardware redundancy configuration, supporting multiple redundancy technologies such as multiple servers, dual interface machines, dual networks, and dual channels, and supporting system cluster configuration;
(4) Safe and stable, adopting unified process management, with a built-in "watchdog" design, and each process in the system has self-diagnosis and self-recovery functions;
(5) Comprehensive and open interface, providing WebService database access interface, MES, WMS and other systems can access ECS real-time database through this interface service;
