Beckhoff recently launched a new series of explosion-proof components, all of which are system-integrated explosion-proof solutions. These solutions can be seamlessly applied in Zones 0-20. In addition to the CPX series control panels and panel PCs, Beckhoff also introduced the new ELX series EtherCAT terminal modules with intrinsically safe interfaces for connecting field devices to Ex Zone 0/20 hazardous areas, as well as TwinCAT control software with various interfaces dedicated to process control technologies.
The CPX product family offers a variety of screen formats, sizes, installation options, and features for users to choose from. Screen formats include 15-inch (4:3), 19-inch (5:4), and 21.5-inch (16:9 widescreen) models. This means that process control industry applications can now also benefit from advanced multi-point projected capacitive touch technology, enabling intuitive and multifunctional operation solutions.
The CPX29xx and CPX39xx series can be equipped with control panels installed in electrical control cabinets or as stand-alone panels with IP65-rated mounting arms, meeting all these application needs. The CPX27xx and CPX37xx series of fanless panel PCs are also suitable. They all utilize heat-resistant, energy-efficient Intel® Atom™ processors to ensure reliable, high-performance system control.
The CPX series explosion-proof control panel solution perfectly combines high-quality and elegant design with multi-point projected capacitive touch technology, and is available in integrated or stand-alone models.
