With food safety issues becoming increasingly prominent, my country is placing greater emphasis on food safety, thus demanding more sophisticated food testing technologies. In the past, Chinese food machinery manufacturers neglected the application of food testing technologies; however, compared to improving overall machine performance, food testing technology has greater potential for development. Sensing technology plays a crucial role in food testing, including collecting data such as food temperature and location.
It is understood that integrated circuit detectors are already widely used in food processing plants abroad. This technology can detect the spoilage time of food. The food shelf-life testing equipment mainly consists of a scanner and sensors. The inspector simply points the scanner at the food and emits radio wave signals, which cause the food to vibrate and form musical waves, which are then transmitted to the sensors.
By comparing parameters with a standard database, the date of food spoilage can be detected in a short time with highly accurate results. The detection technology in food packaging machinery is no longer limited to production line applications; as food testing becomes increasingly important in my country, its application areas will further expand.
In machine vision products, color machine vision products have already been applied in food inspection, primarily using the color of food to determine its ripeness and quality grade. Furthermore, the application of wireless sensor networks is rapidly expanding, with large overseas food processing plants already incorporating this technology into systems for collecting food information and ensuring food safety. Through the network capabilities of wireless sensors, consumers can better understand the entire process of food production, storage, and transportation in food processing plants, making food processing more intuitive and transparent, effectively alleviating consumer concerns about food safety. Simultaneously, in the event of problems, wireless sensor technology also facilitates timely detection by regulatory authorities, ensuring traceability and curbing food safety issues at their source.
Motion control systems are crucial to the development of food packaging machinery in my country, and the technology is becoming increasingly mature. Motion control technology in food packaging machinery primarily achieves precise position control and strictly requires speed synchronization, applied to processes such as food conveying, loading and unloading, palletizing, depalletizing, and marking. Through the application of motion control technology, high, medium, and low-end packaging machinery can be effectively categorized, playing a vital role in the upgrading of my country's food packaging machinery industry. The continuous nature of food packaging production lines places high demands on indicators such as speed, precision, dynamics, and torque, which perfectly aligns with the characteristics of the products.
Therefore, the bus-type motion controller proposed in current automation technology has a very broad development prospect in the food packaging industry. Utilizing high-speed bus communication, it can achieve functions such as high-speed tracking, switching between multiple position control modes, and exchanging data information across multiple communication ports. Furthermore, my country's food packaging machinery is undergoing a transformation from labor-intensive to knowledge-intensive, and enterprise managers should also increase their attention to motion control technology to reduce production costs and improve food packaging quality.
