The Weihong AB 5-axis waterjet cutting system is a crucial member of the Weihong system family. Since its launch, the Weihong AB 5-axis waterjet cutting system has received high praise for its high cutting efficiency and smooth kerf. The system can cut materials such as titanium alloys, copper plates, steel plates, aluminum plates, cast iron, granite, marble, ceramic tiles, synthetic fibers, wood, fabrics, paper, leather, and plastics. It is currently widely used in the stone, construction, and decoration industries, as well as in precision machining industries such as aerospace and military. It can be said that Weihong waterjet cutting systems have become a mainstay in the domestic waterjet cutting system market. This outstanding performance and achievement stem from its rich functionality, excellent adaptability, and continuous innovation.
Optimized features
To improve equipment processing efficiency and further reduce processing costs, Weihong waterjet cutting control system has developed and improved four functions.
Rejecting defects
In the waterjet cutting stone mosaic industry, for stone slabs with defects or cracks, the manual control function allows the system to manually control the cutter head to trace a regular graphic area in the defective or cracked region, and then generate a DXF file. This allows the operator to remove this area from the entire slab when drawing and laying out the design in CAD. This ensures the effective use of raw materials and avoids waste.
Rejecting complexity
In high-volume, multi-tool cutting operations in factories, manually recording and matching toolpath cutting information is too cumbersome. By using a barcode scanning function to obtain toolpath numbers, toolpath information is intelligently matched. This accurate and efficient working mode gives customers peace of mind.
Refuse to make mistakes
In jade carving, a single cutting path contains over 100 small closed shapes. Manually setting and checking these shapes is tedious and time-consuming. Automatic bevel recognition improves efficiency and reduces error rates.
Reject inefficiency
In daily machining, cutting multiple toolpaths and causing repeated valve switching can severely damage the lathe and reduce machining efficiency. The bridging function allows multiple workpieces to be processed in one go, reducing the number of valve switching operations and improving work efficiency. In addition, for cutting small workpieces, bridging can connect the cut shapes together, effectively preventing very small workpieces from falling below the grid.
Improve the plan
In response to ever-changing market demands and to achieve better processing results, Weihong Technology has proposed an improved solution for its existing AB five-axis waterjet cutting system.
V-shaped AB cutter head error compensation function
In actual assembly or installation, some errors in the cutter head structure are unavoidable. When cutting zigzag patterns, V-shaped cutter heads will exhibit a noticeable "uneven head" phenomenon. Using the software's V-shaped cutter head error compensation function, you only need to perform a simple test cut on a sample graphic, measure the relevant dimensions, and then input the data into the software's compensation function. The software will automatically calculate the error and correct the result.
The practical needs of industry development are the direction of Weihong's continuous efforts. In the future, we will continue to uphold our consistent pragmatic work attitude and bring you more cutting-edge technologies. Please look forward to it!
