What precautions should be taken after CNC machine tool processing is completed?

Numerical control machining refers to the machining of parts on numerical control machine tools, using digital information to control the displacement of parts and tools. It is an effective way to solve problems such as diverse parts, small batches, complex shapes, and high precision, and to achieve efficient and automated machining.

The process specifications for CNC machine tool processing are generally the same as those for traditional machine tool processing. However, since CNC machining involves a single setup and continuous automatic processing to complete all turning operations, there are some things to pay attention to after CNC machine tool processing is completed.

Precautions after processing:

1. Remove chips and wipe the machine tool to keep the machine tool and environment clean.

2. Pay attention to checking or replacing the oil wipers on the worn machine tool guideways.

3. Check the condition of lubricating oil and coolant, and add or replace them as needed.

4. Turn off the power on the machine tool control panel and the main power in sequence.

5. When starting the machine tool, follow the principle of first returning to zero (unless otherwise specified), then manual, jogging, and finally automatic operation. The machine tool should be operated at low speed first, then medium speed, and finally high speed, with low and medium speed operation time not less than 2-3 minutes. Work can only begin after confirming there are no abnormalities.

6. It is strictly forbidden to strike, straighten, or correct the workpiece on the chuck or between the centers. The next step can only be carried out after confirming that the workpiece and the tool are clamped tightly.

7. The machine must be stopped when the operator changes tools or workpieces, adjusts workpieces, or leaves the machine tool during operation.

8. Operators must not arbitrarily disassemble or move the safety and protective devices on the machine tool.

9. Before the machine tool starts processing, the program must be checked to see if it is similar to the part being processed. Only after confirming that there are no errors can the safety guard be closed and the machine tool be started to process the part.

10. Machine tool accessories, measuring tools, and cutting tools should be properly kept and kept in good condition. Compensation will be charged for any loss or damage.

11. After the training is completed, the machine tool should be cleaned and kept clean. The tailstock and slide should be moved to the end of the bed and the power supply of the machine tool should be turned off.

12. If a machine tool malfunctions or exhibits abnormal behavior during operation, it should be stopped immediately, the scene protected, and the person in charge at the scene notified immediately.

13. Operators are strictly prohibited from modifying machine tool parameters. If necessary, the equipment administrator must be notified and requested to make the modifications.

14. Understand the technical requirements of the part drawing and check the blank for defects in size and shape. Select a reasonable method for assembling the part.

15. Select the correct CNC turning tools, and ensure that the parts and cutting tools are installed accurately and securely.

16. Understand and master the control and operation panel of CNC machine tools and their operating procedures, accurately input the program into the system, and perform simulation checks and cutting to prepare for machining.

17. If any abnormal noise or malfunction is detected during the machining process, the lathe must be stopped immediately for inspection and the instructor must be notified to avoid any danger.
