Equipped with specially developed IP65/67 and IP69K housing accessories, Baumer CX.I series cameras can now be used in a wide range of applications in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.
These applications place high demands on the cleaning agents in the rinsing area and the surface roughness of the equipment in the media contact area, which our new IP65/67 and IP69K housing accessories can meet.
In terms of thermal performance, this series of accessories can be perfectly integrated with CX.I series cameras, transforming them into cameras with IP65/67 or IP69K protection ratings in a very short time. This flexible combination means that Baumer can provide the most suitable and cost-effective cameras for every application area.

Excellent casing design
IP65/67 housing accessories are developed in accordance with EHEDG standards. Their rounded design ensures liquids flow quickly, preventing dirt buildup. Furthermore, the hard anodized surface can withstand intensive cleaning processes. The IP69K stainless steel housing features a rinse-proof design and meets EHEDG standards, effectively preventing residue buildup for a residue-free cleaning experience and preventing bacterial growth. These housing accessories, combining numerous advantages, make cleaning so easy!
In addition, the surface roughness of the housing is no more than 0.8µm and it is equipped with food-grade wear-resistant seals, making it ideal for installation in rinsing and food areas where grease or chemically corrosive cleaning agents are used. It is definitely the "fighter jet" among housing accessories.
These housing kits offer a variety of protective tubing types to meet the requirements of diverse applications. These tubing types can be paired with different glass cover materials, such as scratch-resistant, impact-resistant, and fracture-resistant acrylic glass and chemically strengthened aluminosilicate glass, which are used as safety laminated glass to ensure a long service life.
Application – CX.I series cameras
Baumer CX.I series cameras offer resolutions up to 12 megapixels and frame rates up to 148fps, and can withstand shocks of up to 100g and vibrations of up to 10g. The cameras feature four power outputs with pulse-width modulation, delivering a maximum output power of 120W (up to 48V/2.5A), allowing direct control of the light source without the need for an external controller.
Furthermore, models with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 70°C can be used in extremely demanding environments. This excellent camera series, combined with IP65/67 and IP69K housing accessories, is sure to be a powerful tool in numerous applications across the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries!
