ABB YuMi series latest single-arm collaborative robot
ABB's latest robot boasts a 500-gram payload capacity and a highly compact design that allows for seamless integration into existing assembly lines, helping customers improve productivity. The robot also features guided programming, eliminating the need for additional operator training. This new YuMi series single-arm collaborative robot, officially launched in 2018, will work alongside ABB Ability™ digital solutions to help customers elevate productivity and reliability to new heights.
KUKALBRiiwa Light Robot
The KUKALBRiiwa is the first mass-produced sensitive robot and also a robot capable of human-robot collaboration. LBR stands for "Lightweight Robot," and iiwa stands for "Intelligent Industrial Work Assistant." The LBRiiwa is available in two models with payload capacities of 7 kg and 14 kg respectively. Using joint torque sensors, the LBRiiwa can immediately identify contact and reduce force and speed. It handles sensitive workpieces through position and buffer control without any parts that could cause pinching or shearing.
FANUC CR-35iA
The CR-35iA collaborative robot, launched by FANUC in 2015, is a brand-new collaborative robot with a payload capacity of 35kg, making it the world's largest collaborative robot in terms of payload. This robot requires no safety barriers, allowing humans and the robot to share a work area.
Using the CR-35iA in conjunction with human labor, it can be applied in industries such as automotive and packaging. This frees up workers from heavy but simple tasks, allowing them to focus on more skill-based work, thus improving system efficiency while ensuring worker safety.
Kawasaki Dual-Arm Robot duAro
The duAro robot's humanoid body features two robotic arms extending horizontally from the body, working in pairs. It can be positioned within the space occupied by a worker, performing tasks that a human would normally perform with their arms. It can also work alongside a worker; if a collision occurs, the robot's operation is stopped via a collision detection function. Specifically, it monitors the current flowing through the motors built into the robotic arms; when an abnormal value is detected, it is determined that a collision has occurred, and the robotic arm stops operating.
In addition to direct teaching methods, such as workers actually moving the robot's robotic arm to teach, tablet computers and other similar devices can also be used for teaching.
Yaskawa Electric's new small robot, MotoMINI
The Yaskawa Electric MotoMINI is a world-class small 6-axis industrial robot. The MotoMINI is easy to reposition, enabling high flexibility in human-robot collaborative tasks. It is used for assembling and manipulating small parts, as well as feeding and inserting electronic and electrical components. The MotoMINI features three main characteristics: small size, lightweight, high speed, and high precision. Comauer AURA Collaborative Robot
Comau's collaborative robot AURA is the first to integrate multi-sensory perception of proximity and contact with humans or other automated components, as well as the intensity of contact.
