1. The installation of explosion-proof electrical equipment must first comply with current national standards. Furthermore, it is advisable to install it on a metal bracket, which should be sturdy. For electrical equipment subject to vibration, the fixing bolts should have anti-loosening devices.
2. In addition to intrinsically safe circuits, the power supply for explosion-proof electrical equipment shall be equipped with overload, short-circuit, and grounding protection. Continuously operating equipment shall not be included in the escalation power-off circuit, but shall be installed on a separate circuit to prevent the generation of additional hazards;
3. After the cable inlet of the explosion-proof electrical equipment is connected to the cable entry point, the integrity of the cable entry device and the sealing performance of the elastic sealing ring should be maintained. The clamping element should be tightened with a tool, and the inlet should be kept sealed.
4. Conduct targeted installation inspections according to the different explosion-proof types of electrical equipment. For example, before installing immersion-type "O" electrical equipment, the oil tank needs to be inspected, and the oil level indicator must not have cracks, oil seepage, or oil leakage defects. For pressurized enclosure-type "P" electrical equipment, the ventilation ducts need to be kept well sealed, etc.
