Compared to previous products, Weidmüller VPU The AC series products offer significant advantages: no fuses are required, saving costs; a three-color status display with yellow indicating the middle status as a warning function, promptly alerting customers and reducing losses; covering three categories: Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3; this series of products is maintenance-free, requiring only a status check before and after thunderstorms.
To better serve the Chinese market, Weidmüller has developed economical Class II surge protectors for both AC and DC applications. Based on photovoltaic combiner box standards, the discharge current (In/Imax) of the surge protectors has been increased to 20/40 kA , and all products can be used in areas with a poster width not exceeding 4,000 meters .
