Turck introduces a rugged LTE linear displacement sensor that can be directly integrated into hydraulic cylinders. This magnetostrictive sensor can withstand shocks up to 100 g and vibrations common in agricultural and forestry machinery. Due to its insensitivity to external influences, it is also suitable for use in hydraulic cylinders of engineering machinery operating in extremely harsh environments.
Flexible settings
Users can flexibly set the measurement range according to the sensor type. Utilizing field-proven magnetostrictive technology, this LTE sensor operates without wear, ensuring high accuracy, linearity, and repeatability. Furthermore, the sensor offers up to 16 -bit resolution and provides standard analog output signals of 0…10 V and 4…20 mA , as well as three signal ranges for mobile devices: 0…5 V , 0.25…4.75 V , and 0.5…4.5 V.
