A Brief Analysis of the Tension Sensor Calibration Process

2026-04-06 03:33:36 · · #1

1. Insert the force sensor to be calibrated, such as a force sensor with a range of 50kg, and select a force sensor channel on the left;

2. Enter the sensor's range in the "Range" input box, such as "50" kg;

3. Enter the zero force of the sensor in the "Zero Value" input box; generally, enter "0".

4. Click the "Clear" button to clear the calibration table;

5. Calibrate point di1: With the sensor unloaded, zero the force, and enter "0" kg in the input box to the right of "Standard Weight Value". Then click the "Take Point" button. The AD value and standard weight value of point di1 will be entered into the calibration table.

6. Calibrate point 2: Apply a certain load to the sensor, such as hanging a 5kg weight, and enter the load value "5"kg in the input box to the right of "Standard Weight Value". Then click the "Take Point" button. The AD value and standard weight value of point 2 will then be entered into the calibration table.

7. Calibrate point 3: The method is the same as point 2. If you continue calibrating point 3, both the "AD value" and the "standard weight value" must be larger than those in point 2; otherwise, the calibration will be inaccurate.

8. Calibrate point 4: The method is the same as point 2. If you continue calibrating point 4, both the "AD value" and the "standard weight value" must be greater than those in point 3; otherwise, the calibration will be inaccurate.

9. Calibrate point 5: The method is the same as point 2. If you continue calibrating point 5, both the "AD value" and the "standard weight value" must be greater than those in point 4; otherwise, the calibration will be inaccurate.

10. Calibrate point 6: The method is the same as point 2. If you continue calibrating point 6, both the "AD value" and the "standard weight value" must be greater than those at point 5; otherwise, the calibration will be inaccurate.

11. Click the "Write calibration data to acquisition card" button. If "Write successful" is displayed, the calibration of a force sensor is completed. If "Write failed" is displayed, please try again a few times.

12. If a second force sensor is required, repeat steps 1-11 above. Otherwise, set the range of all other sensors to 0, and then click the "Write Calibration Data to Data Acquisition Card" button.
