Electric vehicle batteries don't last long? What to do?

In our daily lives, we see all sorts of modes of transportation: cars, trains, buses, subways, high-speed trains, bullet trains, and airplanes. Seeing all of these makes one marvel at the advancements in technology. In the past, people had limited transportation options, and many relied on their own two feet for travel. But today, with so many different modes of transport available, people can choose the appropriate mode to meet their travel needs.

Besides the aforementioned modes of transportation, electric bikes are also common in daily life. Nowadays, there are so many cars on the streets, often causing traffic jams. Many people who originally planned to buy a car have changed their minds and opted for an electric bike instead, as it won't be as affected by traffic jams. A friend of mine did just that, but recently he asked me a question: his electric bike, which he's only ridden for a little over a year, seems to have a battery that's far less durable than before. Its performance has significantly decreased. Previously, a single charge would last for several days, but now, with the same amount of charge, it only lasts about a day and a half. The battery really isn't as long-lasting as it used to be.

Actually, the reason this happens is most likely because a few points weren't paid attention to during charging. Today, we'll discuss these points that all electric vehicle owners must keep in mind. Don't be careless, or you might accidentally damage your vehicle! This is the correct way to operate the battery.

First and foremost, it's crucial to control the charging time when charging your electric vehicle. Many people, for their own convenience, plug in their electric vehicles as soon as they get home and then unplug them the next morning before riding. Do they realize that doing this can easily cause the battery to bulge and become damaged? This far exceeds the normal charging time.

We all know that once the indicator light on our car charger changes, it means the battery is fully charged. So some people rush to unplug it. The correct procedure is to wait about two hours after the light changes before unplugging the power. Therefore, everyone should plan ahead and do this to ensure the battery is fully charged, which is also beneficial for your electric vehicle.

Secondly, regarding the chargers for electric vehicles, some people don't carry their own chargers when they go out and borrow others'. They don't realize that this is closely related to their car's battery life decreasing. Different electric vehicle chargers are different. Using an incompatible charger will affect the charging speed and can easily damage the battery, shortening its lifespan. What are your thoughts after reading this? Have you made this mistake when charging your vehicle?
