Pressure sensors are mainly used in: booster cylinders, boosters, gas-liquid booster cylinders, gas-liquid boosters, presses, compressors, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and other fields.

1. Applied to hydraulic systems

Pressure sensors in hydraulic systems primarily function to achieve closed-loop force control. When the control valve spool moves suddenly, a pressure spike several times the system's operating pressure can form within a very short time. In typical mobile machinery and industrial hydraulics, any pressure sensor will quickly fail if such extreme conditions are not considered in the design. Shock-resistant pressure sensors are required. There are two main methods for achieving shock resistance in pressure sensors: one is using a strain gauge chip, and the other is using an external coil. The first method is generally used in hydraulic systems, mainly because it is easier to install. Another reason is that the pressure sensor must withstand the continuous pressure pulsations from the hydraulic pump.

2. Applied to safety control systems

Pressure sensors are frequently used in safety control systems, primarily in the safety management systems of air compressors. Given the wide variety of sensor applications in safety control, the use of pressure sensors, as a very common type of sensor, is not surprising.

In the field of safety control, applications are generally considered from performance, price, and the safety and convenience of actual operation. Practical experience has shown that pressure sensors are an excellent choice. Pressure sensors utilize mechanical processing technology to mount components and signal conditioners onto a very small chip. Therefore, small size is one of its advantages, as is low price. To a certain extent, it can improve the accuracy of system testing. In safety control systems, installing pressure sensors in the outlet piping to control the pressure from the compressor is a protective measure and a very effective control system. When the compressor starts normally, if the pressure value has not reached the upper limit, the controller will open the inlet to adjust the pressure so that the equipment reaches maximum power.

3. Applied to injection molds

Pressure sensors play a crucial role in injection molds. They can be installed in the nozzles of injection molding machines, hot runner systems, cold runner systems, and inside the mold cavity. They measure the plastic pressure at a specific point between the nozzle and the mold cavity during injection, filling, holding, and cooling processes.

4. Used for monitoring mine pressure

Sensor technology is one of the key technologies for pressure monitoring in mines. On the one hand, we should correctly apply existing sensors to serve the mining industry; on the other hand, sensor manufacturers must also research and develop new pressure sensors to adapt to more applications in the mining industry. There are various types of pressure sensors, and based on the special environment of mine pressure monitoring, the main types of pressure sensors used in mining include: vibrating wire pressure sensors, semiconductor piezoresistive pressure sensors, metal strain gauge pressure sensors, and differential transformer pressure sensors. These sensors have wide applications in the mining industry, and the specific type of sensor used depends on the specific mining environment.

5. Used to promote sleep

Pressure sensors themselves cannot promote sleep. We simply place pressure sensors under the mattress. Because pressure sensors are highly sensitive, when a person makes movements related to turning over, heartbeat, and breathing, the sensor analyzes this information to infer the sleeping state of the person. Then, through analysis of the sensor signals, we collect sleep data such as heartbeat and breathing rhythm. Finally, we process all the data and compose a piece of music, which can compress your entire night's sleep into a few minutes of music.

6. Used in compressors and air conditioning refrigeration equipment.

Pressure sensors are commonly used in air compressors and air conditioning refrigeration equipment. These sensors are small in size, easy to install, and the pressure port usually adopts a special valve needle design.
