The correct installation, use, and maintenance of precision planetary reducers are crucial for ensuring the normal operation of mechanical equipment. Therefore, when installing planetary reducers, the following installation and use guidelines should be strictly followed.
Step 1: Check that the motor and precision planetary reducer are intact, and ensure that the dimensions of each part connecting the motor and precision planetary reducer are consistent.
Step 2: Rotate the screws on the outer anti-vibration holes of the precision planetary reducer flange, adjust the PCS system clamping ring, align the side holes and anti-vibration holes, and insert the internal hexagonal screwdriver for rotation. Then remove the motor shaft key. Before installation, wipe the motor input shaft with gasoline or zinc sodium solution to remove rust-preventive oil from the locating boss and the reducer connection.
Step 3: Connect the motor to the precision planetary reducer naturally. During connection, ensure the reducer's output shaft and the motor's input shaft are concentric, and that their outer flanges are parallel. This extends service life and achieves ideal transmission efficiency and lower noise. Additionally, to prevent damage to bearings or gears due to excessive axial or radial forces, never use hammers or other impact tools during installation. Tighten the mounting bolts before tightening the load bolts.
Step 4: After installing the precision planetary reducer, it should rotate freely by hand without any jamming. Before starting, tighten all connecting screws and run it under no-load for at least 2 hours. Ensure smooth operation; avoid impacts, vibrations, noise, and oil leaks. If any issues are found, address them immediately. Regularly check all fixed components to ensure they are functioning properly during use.
