To ensure the safe and reliable use of lithium-ion batteries, experts have conducted very rigorous and meticulous battery safety designs to meet battery safety assessment indicators.

(1) The 135℃ automatic shutdown protection of the separator adopts the internationally advanced Celgard2300 pE-pp-pE three-layer composite membrane. When the battery temperature reaches 120℃, the pores of the pE membrane on both sides of the composite membrane close, the internal resistance of the battery increases, and the internal temperature rise of the battery slows down. When the battery temperature reaches 135℃, the pores of the pp membrane close, the internal circuit of the battery is broken, and the battery no longer heats up, ensuring the safety and reliability of the battery.

(2) When the battery is overcharged and the battery voltage is higher than 4.2V, the additives in the electrolyte will polymerize with other substances in the electrolyte, resulting in a significant increase in the battery's internal resistance and the formation of a large-area open circuit inside the battery, causing the battery to stop heating up.

(3) Composite structure of battery cover The battery cover adopts a serrated explosion-proof structure. When the battery heats up, some of the gas generated during the internal activation process expands, the internal pressure of the battery increases, and when the pressure reaches a certain level, the serration breaks and releases gas.
