The potential problems with lithium-ion batteries lie in three aspects: high manufacturing cost, susceptibility to explosion at high temperatures, and inconvenience in charging and use. Therefore, the application of lithium-ion batteries in the electric vehicle field must focus on solving these technical challenges. Consequently, the application of high-energy-density battery materials, solid-state non-flammable battery technology, and lithium-air battery technology research have become the directions for technological transformation in electric vehicle batteries.
