Common Sense of Daily Maintenance for Lithium-ion Batteries
① Do not store lithium-ion batteries with metal objects, as metal objects may come into contact with the positive and negative terminals of the lithium-ion batteries, causing a short circuit, damaging the lithium-ion batteries, or even causing danger.
② Master the correct charging method: First connect the charger to the battery pack, then connect the charger's power plug to a 220V AC power source. This connection sequence can prevent electrical sparks when plugging and unplugging the charging plug. The charger will display a red indicator light when the power is on.
③ Lithium-ion batteries can enter a dormant state under refrigerated conditions. However, after using a lithium-ion electric bicycle in high-temperature conditions, the removed battery pack should not be placed in the freezer immediately, but rather in a cool place to allow the lithium-ion batteries to cool down slowly.
④ During daily use of lithium-ion batteries, after fully charging, let them sit for about half an hour to allow their performance to stabilize before using them. Allowing the lithium-ion battery a resting period may affect its normal performance.
⑤ If you find that the lithium-ion battery has changed color, deformed, or is otherwise different from normal, please stop using it. During actual charging, stop charging if it cannot be completed within the specified charging time; otherwise, it may cause leakage, overheating, and damage to the lithium-ion battery.
⑥ Avoid using lithium-ion batteries that are hot after being fully charged. When a battery is newly charged, its temperature may be very high. If it is used immediately, the internal temperature of the electronic components will rise, which may have a negative impact on the electronic components of the device.
