1. It's not necessary to make sure the battery is completely discharged before charging every time;
2. A deep charge-discharge cycle controlled by the protection circuit can be performed periodically to correct the battery's charge statistics, but this will not increase the actual capacity of your lithium-ion battery.
3. If lithium-ion batteries need to be stored for a long time (more than one month), it is recommended to charge them to 40%-60% and recharge them for 12 hours every month during storage.
4. The protection circuit is also unable to monitor the battery's self-discharge. Batteries that have not been used for a long time should be charged with a certain amount of power to prevent excessive self-discharge during storage, which could lead to damage from over-discharge.
5. During the storage of lithium-ion batteries, prevent metal objects from entering the battery compartment, as this may cause leakage, overheating, smoke, fire, or explosion.
6. If the battery is found to be deformed or overheating, stop using it. A. Use original batteries and original chargers.
B. Note the following when charging:
1. Avoid using your phone while it's charging, as simultaneous input and output to the battery increases the load on the battery and thus affects its lifespan.
2. Do not over-discharge. Charge only when the battery level is below 10%. Do not overcharge. Once the phone indicates that it is fully charged, unplug the charger.
3. If charging for a long time, do not cover it with anything, such as a phone case or cover, to prevent the phone from overheating.
4. Keep your phone away from you while it's charging at night.
C. Prevent the battery from being exposed to high temperatures, such as being exposed to direct sunlight in summer or near a stove in winter. It should be placed in a cool place.
D. Unplug the charger before answering the phone and try to use a headset to answer the phone, which is safer and can reduce radiation.
E. If the battery is not used for a long time, charge it to 60%, store it separately in a cool, dry place, and recharge it every 4 to 5 months.
