Abstract : This article introduces the application of Emerson's TD2000 and TD900 inverters in the heat exchange of the building heat supplying control system. The control system uses the PID control algorithm and improves the quality of the adjustment. The 500 Heating Project is a key environmental protection project in Shandong Province and a centralized heating project funded by a World Bank loan. It provides heating for nearly 90,000 residents and 800 public buildings in the urban area, covering a centralized heating area of 860 x 10⁵ m². The 500 Heating Company has more than 30 secondary heat exchange stations. These stations are located near residential areas and public buildings, responsible for heat exchange between the primary and secondary heating networks. The operation of these stations directly affects the heating quality and people's work and lives. In the design of the automatic control system for the secondary heat exchange station's heat exchange system, Emerson TD series frequency converters are used to control the operation of the circulating pumps and makeup water pumps, improving the system's regulation quality and energy-saving effect, and realizing automatic control of the heat exchange system.
