Abstract : Starting from the problems encountered in the practical application of frequency converters, this paper proposes some solutions and improvement suggestions in a targeted manner from aspects such as application environment, power grid quality, anti-interference, and V/F graph selection. Keywords: Power grid quality, anti-interference, electrostatic induction interference, frequency converter, V/F graph, frequency converter, charging and starting circuit 0 Introduction Variable frequency speed control is the fastest developing motor speed control method in modern electrical engineering. Its speed equation is n=60f(1-s)/P. By changing P, n can be changed to achieve stepless speed regulation. Control systems driven by frequency converters are increasingly widely used in industrial production due to their advantages such as significant energy saving, high precision, reliable operation, convenient adjustment, simple maintenance, and networking. Based on our factory's many years of experience in the use and maintenance of frequency converters, this paper discusses the issues that should be paid attention to in order to achieve the expected operating effect of frequency converters. 1 Working Environment Issues In the practical application of frequency converters, in order to reduce costs, they are often directly installed at cement production sites. The working site is generally dusty, hot, and in the south, there is also the problem of high humidity. Therefore, corresponding countermeasures must be taken based on the site conditions. 1.1 Basic Requirements for Inverter Installation Design For details, please click: Several Issues to Note When Using Inverters
