Abstract : Speed coordination control among various units is necessary in the papermaking process. In some units, such as the squeeze unit, when K-type squeeze with vacuum roller is selected, load distribution control is used to ensure that each drive motor of the K-type squeeze unit reasonably bears the load power output according to its power configuration. The speed coordination problem of the entire production line can be solved by using a PLC as the host computer and controlling the frequency converter through communication. The Senlan SB80 frequency converter provides rich serial port protocols, which can facilitate network control. According to the process requirements, the division using K-type pressing in the wire section needs to be combined with load distribution control, and the following requirements are placed on the electrical drive automation control: (1) Starting requirements There are divisions in the paper machine with large transmission inertia, such as the drying cylinder, which need to be started smoothly to avoid damage to the mechanical coupling. (2) Speed requirements From pulp to paper, the papermaking machine goes through multiple divisions such as pressure spraying, pressing, drying, calendering and winding. It is a multi-unit speed coordination control system. The speeds of each division have a strict speed ratio relationship. Otherwise, it will cause paper breakage or excessive slack, affecting the physical properties of the paper and the quantitative control of the paper sheet cannot be stabilized, affecting the product quality.
