Abstract : Intelligent position-finding CNC system is an important underlying support system in intelligent position-finding machining technology. This system differs from traditional CNC systems, possessing functions such as active position-finding control, adaptive machining control, and network communication. It can actively control the position-finding equipment to actively acquire the workpiece's spatial pose in a CAN bus environment, and can automatically generate machining control commands according to the actual pose of the workpiece, thus enabling the machining equipment to perform machining. Verification results show that this CNC system has significant performance advantages. Keywords : Intelligent position-finding CNC system, CAN bus. Intelligent position-finding machining technology, as a new machining technology, significantly shortens the production preparation cycle for enterprises, accelerates product launch speed, and greatly improves the agility of manufacturing enterprises. To enable this technology to be widely applied in manufacturing enterprises and further improve their market responsiveness, support is needed at the equipment and system levels. This paper details its underlying CNC system. I. Basic Functional Requirements The main differences between intelligent position-finding machining technology and traditional machining technology are twofold: ① Active position-finding replaces passive positioning; ② Adaptive machining replaces forced machining according to predetermined relationships. This requires a CNC system that is completely different from the traditional approach, which is also the important and unique function of the new intelligent seekable CNC system introduced in this article. Based on actual needs, the new CNC system introduced in this article, in addition to having the functions of a traditional CNC system, should at least have the following basic functions: ① Active seekable control, performing seekable motion control on the active seekable equipment, including motion control of the tactile and visual measurement systems. ② Automatic generation of CNC machining instructions based on seekable information. Based on the actual state information of the workpiece in the information flow, the tool motion path control instructions for this workpiece machining are generated through real-time planning, controlling the machining equipment to perform machining in accordance with reality. ③ Network communication function. Since the intelligent CNC system is only a component of the intelligent seekable machining system, the transmission of information flow between components or systems requires basic network communication functions. This also requires that the CNC system must have a corresponding network interface. II.
