Abstract : This paper designs and implements a system that can effectively realize energy saving of central air conditioning based on frequency converters. The working principle of the central air conditioning system is briefly described. The structure, main functions, performance characteristics, and implementation scheme of the energy-saving system are detailed. This system is designed and implemented based on a detailed study and analysis of the existing working principle of central air conditioning and various existing energy- saving control systems. It is reliable, has significant energy-saving effect, and can greatly extend the service life of motors, contactors, mechanical parts, bearings, valves, pipes, refrigeration units, and heat exchangers, while avoiding water hammer phenomena caused by instantaneous start-up and stop of the water pump. Keywords : Frequency converter; Central air conditioning; Energy-saving system the performance characteristics and realization method of the energy-saving system were introduced in detail. This system was designed and realized on the basis of detailed research and analysis of tlle working principle of the existing central air-conditioner and of all the existing kinds of energy-saving systems of tlle central air-conditioners. It has reliable performance, obvious electricity-saving effect, and can greatly lengthens the using time of the electromotor, the contact machine, the meehan ical elements. t}le bearing. t}le valve. t}le pipe refrigeration mainframe an dt}le heat exchanger. And it can also avoid the water hammer phenomena produced during sudden starting and sudden stop of tlle pump. Energy conservation and the pursuit of a green economy have become a focus for many countries around the world. China, as a developing country with such a large population, has placed this issue at the forefront of its new five-year plan for healthy economic development. Central air conditioning is a significant aspect of energy consumption. Currently, with the rapid development of the economy and the accelerating pace of urban construction, central air conditioning has become one of the most important tools related to people's lives and work. As a major energy consumer in modern buildings, surveys indicate that central air conditioning accounts for approximately 60% of the annual electricity bill for a building. Given its high energy consumption, it is crucial to conduct in-depth research and transformation of existing energy-saving control systems and develop more rational energy-saving systems.
