Abstract : Based on the handling process of several short circuit faults in the feeder belt frequency converter of the No. 2 ship unloader in Mawan general power plant of Shenzhen electric power group, this paper summarizes the various causes and handling methods of such faults. Keywords : Bridge grab unloader; ACS600 frequency converter; short circuit fault; cause analysisKeywords : bridge-type grab ship unloader; ACS600 frequency converter; shot circuit fault; reason analysis The coal feeder belt is one of the important pieces of equipment in the material system of a bridge-type grab ship unloader. To facilitate output adjustment, it is generally controlled by a frequency converter. The relevant technical parameters of the coal feeder belt motor of the No. 2 bridge-type grab ship unloader at the Mawan Power Plant coal terminal are: 400 V, 15 kW × 2, 30 A, 1460 rpm; it uses an ABB ACS600 frequency converter, model: ACS601-0050-3, 50 kW. Recently, several "short circuit" faults have occurred, and the results of inspection and handling have varied. This article is written to summarize the lessons learned and facilitate communication among colleagues. 1. Fault Phenomenon Shortly after the coal feeder belt starts, the ACS600 frequency converter control panel reports a "SHORT CIRC" (short circuit) fault, which needs to be reset to resolve. After being stopped for a period of time, it can work again for a while.
