Abstract : This paper introduces the transformation solution and application effects of Powtran inverters on the hoisting machine load and the precautions in the actual transformation. Key words : hoisting machine, Powtran PI8000T inverter, Brake 1 Introduction The hoisting machine is an important piece of equipment used to transport furnace materials to the top of the blast furnace for charging or to transport ore in the inclined shaft of the mine. Small and medium-sized blast furnaces in China basically use material car hoists as the standard charging equipment. It should meet the following requirements: sufficient conveying capacity, charging speed that meets the requirements of blast furnace production, reliable operation, durability, ensuring continuous blast furnace production, automation of charging, simple structure, and convenient maintenance. The working characteristics of the hoisting machine are: slow start-up speed, large torque, smooth acceleration, and stable and accurate stopping. Traditional speed control methods involve using a wound-rotor asynchronous motor, with several resistors connected in series in the rotor circuit via slip rings and carbon brushes.
