Abstract : This article introduces the structural design, configuration, and control principle of the stacker-reclaimer electrical automatic control system. It also focuses on the stacker-reclaimer automatic control system by combining SIEMENS automatic control products such as PLCS7-300, 6SE70 inverter, TP27 touch screen, and PROFIBUS network communication. The material conveying system at Huainan Steel Plant is equipped with three bucket wheel stacker-reclaimers, one stacker, and one bridge-type double bucket wheel reclaimer. This system requires a high degree of automation, accurate logic control, and long-term safe and reliable operation. Based on the above control concept, and considering the numerous control points and harsh operating conditions, traditional control technologies result in low system efficiency and poor reliability. This design utilizes a SIEMENS touchscreen, frequency converter, and PLC, and uses SIEMENS' standard PROFIBUS network bus communication for joint control. Three control modes are employed: PLC manual, single-action, and automatic control principles. The frequency converter is used to adjust the motor speed, while the touchscreen monitoring interface monitors system operation. This system is simple to connect, easy to configure, easy to program, and easy to maintain. It plays a crucial role in the system's high efficiency, energy saving, simplified operation, and stable process.
